At an archaeological dig in the ancient city of Hamunaptra, an American serving in the French Foreign Legion accidentally awakens a mummy who begins to wreak havoc as he searches for the reincarnation of his long-lost love.

I got to see this in theaters the first time it was released back in ’99, but i was happy to go see it in theaters again! I love everything about this movie, the two leads were among some of the most beautiful people to grace the screen that year and the story was pretty on point too. The only issue I had was the weird 90’s era CGI that showed up from time to time, it was best when the movie was all practical effects.
