Directed by Karen Maine. With Natalia Dyer, Francesca Reale, Alisha Boe, Allison Shrum. After an innocent AOL chat turns racy, a Catholic teenager in the early 00s discovers masturbating and struggles to suppress her new urges in the face of eternal damnation.
The synopsis above is much more salacious than what the movie actually ended up being, though I can see where they’re going with it. Natalia Dyer did an excellent job playing a young woman coming to the realization that life isn’t what you’re told it is and that no one really has all the answers.
I suggest checking it out if you’re religious and have questions about the higher authority that you find yourself struggling against.
