Long story about this series, I only bought and read them because I was pressured into buying a .50 book, and I chose a random one that had a giant tentacle monster on the cover, just because. The story ended up being interesting enough that the series when on my “maybe if I find the rest of them for 50 cents” list, which I eventually found them all for that price.

This is a fun book that moves so fast and has some major pacing issues, but at the end of the day it’s enjoyable.
