Five years after an ominous unseen presence drives most of society to suicide, a survivor and her two children make a desperate bid to reach safety.

If you take the unseeable horror from It Follows and combine it with the suspense and world building of A Quiet Place, you’d likely end up with something much like Bird Box. There’s not a lot of answers here, fewer than A Quiet Place, but I’m happy with the end result. It was a horrifying experience filled with anxiety and suspense. There are a couple minor twists that come along and you’ll see them coming a few moments before they actually hit, but they’re not obvious enough to make the film seem silly, but are instead just clever enough to make you feel smart for figuring them out.
