Directed by Andy Tennant. With Drew Barrymore, Anjelica Huston, Dougray Scott, Patrick Godfrey. The Brothers Grimm arrive at the home of a wealthy Grande Dame who speaks of the many legends surrounding the fable of the cinder girl before telling the “true” story of her ancestor.

I’d never seen it, but my wife suggested it after watching a couple other fantasy movies. There’s some goofiness afoot in the movie, but it’s all well acted and well intended, so I give it a complete pass.
