Directed by Sam Raimi. With Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, Topher Grace, Thomas Haden Church. A strange black entity from another world bonds with Peter Parker and causes inner turmoil as he contends with new villains, temptations, and revenge.

There’s some problems with the movie, but I think it’s actually aged pretty well and there’s been some pretty good explanations about how things went the way they did.

Watched this immediately after “Far From Home” though, so in comparison, yikes.
