A teenage girl is raised underground by a kindly robot “Mother” — designed to repopulate the earth following the extinction of humankind. But their unique bond is threatened when an inexplicable stranger arrives with alarming news.

I loved every bit of this movie, from the acting by the two humans (Rose Byrne, Hilary Swank), to the robot designs, to the special effects, all the way to the amazing score by Dan Luscombe, this film came together in a very special way that not many post apocalyptic stories do. It’s on Netflix, so check it out at your leisure.
