One of Melissa McCarthy’s few comedy roles where it was a feel good comedy instead of a hateful or spiteful plot where she flails about commenting on hilariously overweight, awkward, or incompetent she is.  “Life of the Party” is downright enjoyable and easily one of her best movies yet.
