Major (Scarlett Johansson) is the first of her kind: a human mind inside an artificial body. Discovering her creators lied about her past life to control her, Major will stop at nothing to unravel the mystery of her true identity and exact revenge.
Unjustifiably maligned by SJWs and bandwagoning blowhards, I found this retelling of the classic Ghost In The Shell movie to be a visually interesting piece of art that was able to hold my attention and give me a good plot. I remember a good bit of the complaints from the complainers was that Scarlett Johansson was not asian, but even at the time I had doubts that the character named “Major” was Asian herself. There’s a good subtle reference to this in the film, though you likely wouldn’t hear much from the people that were outraged that a full body cyborg was somehow of the wrong racial background.
I suggest you check this one out, it was a pretty solid movie that I really feel is on par with the original film. It’s a slightly different story, but that’s due to sourcing story elements from the comics, the movies and the television series.
