A SIMPLE FAVOR, directed by Paul Feig, centers around Stephanie (Anna Kendrick), a mommy vlogger who seeks to uncover the truth behind her best friend Emily’s (Blake Lively) disappearance.

Perfect proof that Paul Feig is a great director, he just needs to work within his own elements and not ones that so obviously are outside of where he’s great in. Both Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively were absolutely fantastic with a story that I couldn’t really figure out until the last couple minutes. There were a few times I thought it was going the Gone Girl route, which it did, but only sorta. Maybe.
