Set to the sounds of Awesome Mixtape #2, Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team’s adventures as they unravel the mystery of Star-Lord’s parentage.

They nearly got to the same level of mentioning family as Fate of the Furious and the plot seemed contrived in a way that only comic book movies can make work. I enjoyed the film, but boy howdy do I disagree with how they treated a few characters in the film. It’s a good second entry into the Marvel Cosmic Universe with definite room for improvement.

If you go see it in the theaters, stay for the last credits to roll, there’s like 5 stingers!
